The
Porter Recreational Portable Basketball System
features a unique tension spring-assist folding
mechanism concealed in the base provides instant and
effortless height adjustments at 8’, 9’ or 10’ goal
heights. All structural hinge points are fitted with oil
impregnated bronze bushings for a maintenance-free
operation. When in the playing position the base is
locked into position by four, foot-operated retractable
floor pads. Porter’s exclusive Center-Strut® provides a
direct goal-mount system which withstands slam dunking
and prevents glass backboards from shattering.
Each
unit includes:
* BACKBOARD- official size, 3’-6” x 6’
glass backboard. Backboard is furnished with a weather
resistant, powder-coated, unitized steel rear support
structure and fitted in a professional quality perimeter
aluminum frame.
* GOAL- Torq-Flex® adjustable goal.
Anti-whip net included.
* BALLAST- Furnished with ballast concealed in base.
* PADDING- Fully padded with 2” thick shock-absorbing
material. Padding available in 14 colors.(Royal blue is
the standard base pad color for this model.)
* BOTTOM EDGE BACKBOARD PADDING- Gray
bolt-on backboard padding molded from high density
polyurethane foam.
